Starting her career in public relations in Chicago more than 25 years ago, Michelle Wilmoth brings a breadth of industry experience, including work in the entertainment, food & beverage, consumer and non-profit communities. She started her career at the Chicago office of City of Hope diving into the non-profit space. From there, she began her decade plus entertainment career representing Sesame Street Live and Bear in the Big Blue House Live, the renovation and opening of the Genesee Theatre in suburban Chicago, and a variety of independent theatrical presentations. For three years Wilmoth’s home was on Broadway as the chief publicist for Broadway In Chicago representing national tour launches including “Mary Poppins” and “Rock of Ages”; resident productions “Jersey Boys,” “Wicked,” and “Billy Elliot”; and a wide variety of touring shows.
In 2011, she relocated to Las Vegas to continue her work in entertainment with “Jersey Boys,” the world-premiere of “Absinthe,” and the opening of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. In early 2014, Wilmoth happily joined the PR Plus team, where she worked with a variety of restaurant, hospitality, non-profit, and entertainment clients including Andiron Steak & Sea, Honey Salt, Buddy Valastro's Restaurant Group, Nacho Daddy, The Space/Mondays Dark, JW Marriott Las Vegas, House of Blues/Foundation Room, SafeNest, Collaboration Center Foundation, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, and the Children’s Heart Foundation. When PR Plus closed in 2022, she went in house with Buddy Valastro's Restaurant Group where she oversaw Las Vegas marketing and national public relations efforts for Valastro, five Vegas-based restaurant concepts, and a handful of projects for Buddy Valastro Brands and Carlo's Bake Shop.
In May of 2024, Wilmoth opened ROAR PR Group focusing growing a small, independent PR agency from the ground up and quickly kept with the restaurant and non-profit industry clients she loves, while adding clients in the custom craft and artistic spaces.
When not working, Wilmoth enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bernice and Lucille, and currently volunteers with a variety of community organizations in Las Vegas..
